After studying drawing and obtaining knowledge in styles at the prestigious Ecole Boulle (Paris), in the section devoted to bronze chiseling, he meets the painter Pierre Grisot at the age of 17, and becomes his pupil. During eight years, he studies with him composition and painting, life drawings, still- life, and landscapes executed in the South of France and in Savoie.

He then embarks on an Interior Design career, working for the famous company Jansen in Paris, where he works from 1955 until 1961, before setting up his own business Dekoras. As well as designing, he creates and realises furniture and designs for carpets which he sells in most European capitals as well as the Middle East.

He continues painting throughout these years, at the Ateliers des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, and other workshops.

Some of his realisations are represented in the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris
